Law Library of El Dorado County
The El Dorado County Law Library is a public library serving the community of El Dorado County with legal reference resources.
- The law library’s main branch is located in the county seat of Placerville and contains a print collection of over 9,000 volumes. There is also an electronic branch located in South Lake Tahoe inside the county library which has a small print collection. Both locations provide access to extensive electronic legal resources via premium subscription databases, i.e., Westlaw, CEB Onlaw, and NOLO Press E-Books.
- The NOLO E-Books may also be accessed by residents of El Dorado County from outside the library through the law library’s website: eldoradocountylawlibrary.org.

- At the Placerville branch, a conference room is available for reservation and several free legal aid clinics and workshops are held weekly. Wi-fi, computers, printing and photocopying are available at both locations.
